Perhaps the most important experience of all is the time you will share with colleagues who care about the land and creative landscape photography.
This 5-day course is inclusive of field capture, guided hikes, 4×4 travel to remote locations and post-processing training. Students gain valuable insights into landscape thematics, environmental considerations, and develop skills that permit them to create landscape works that say and do more than what the camera captured. Students learn the magic of landscape compositions, previsualization, and an end-to-end workflow from camera capture to post with Lightroom and Photoshop. There are ample field lectures, hands-on lessons, plus many hours of capture time with an instructor by your side to help you learn new tools, techniques, and develop a visual voice that matters.
You get to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and we’ll take it from there. Your instructor and guides will provide on and off road transportation to all areas. (The Lexington in Jackson Hole, WY is off of US-191, 88 miles east of Idaho Falls, WY and 275 miles north of Salt Lake City, UT.)
