Photography is greater than a group of tools for recording images; it is also a visual language and a medium for creating art. Thus, Master Classes emphasize landscape art photography and consist of 5- days of field capture assignments and post-production class sessions with Adobe software. Students work in front and back country landscape locations, learn creative approaches for documentary, narrative and navigation images as well as the Grand Scenic, Intimate, and Detail styles. The curriculum structure guides students in the development of a visual voice using themes and portfolios.
