February 7-12, 2017
February is just over the horizon and now is the time to register for the Mojave National Preserve Master Class Workshop. Mojave National Preserve, one of the newest National Parks and the third largest in the lower 48, is a land of desert wilderness, abandoned mines, and ghostly homesteads. Out here, rain is an episodic event, but solitude and peace abound every day.
Climb aboard our 4-wheel drive vehicles, explore 1.6 million acres of desert wilderness, roads less traveled, and take advantage of the soft and slanted winter light. During your five days in the field, you will be capturing images from locations rarely seen by contemporary man and experience a land that is slowly and inexorably retreating into times past. The 2017 Master Class Workshop includes access to the Historic OX Ranch, once a 400,000-acre cattle ranch and now being restored as our new home for Artists with Residency Grants.
In this class, we have expanded the training to include Juice Cards to launch your creative juices at each location and post-production steps to help you previsualize your completed work.
