Our Mojave National Preserve Landscape Master Class Workshop allows our students to photograph the desert at a depth rarely experienced by photographers. Climb aboard our 4-wheel drive vehicles, explore 1.6 million acres of desert wilderness, roads less traveled, and take advantage of the soft and slanted light.
Resolve to register today because this class fills quickly.
Mojave National Preserve, one of the newest National Parks and the third largest in the lower 48, is a land of desert wilderness, abandoned mines, and ghostly homesteads. Rain is an episodic event, but solitude and peace abound every day. During your days in the field, you will be capturing images from locations rarely seen by photographers, and you will experience a land that is slowly and inexorably retreating into times past. The 2017 Master Class Workshop includes access to the Historic OX Ranch, once a 400,000-acre cattle spread and now being restored as our new home for Artists with National Park Service Artist Residency Grants.
