Canyonlands National Park is an adventure park, and our curriculum will include about 50 miles of challenging four-wheel-drive roads that lead to many incredible, not often seen, photographic opportunities.
We will explore and work in Horsehoof, Peekaboo, Devils Kitchen, and other backcountry areas and then capture incredible images from the White Rim Road trial. At the Island in the Sky, students will learn the art of the grand scenic and develop a series of images that exceed the camera’s vision. From the arid trails and high desert country, we will explore areas of the Colorado and Green Rivers as they cut through layered sandstone to form two deep canyons. Capturing a sunrise at the Big Drops in Cataract Canyon is a breathtaking experience.
